Hobo Spider (Aggressive House Spider)
Shape and size:
Hobo spiders are easily confused with other spiders because of their common appearance. Typically measuring around 12mm in body length, they have brown legs and their abdomens are marked with chevron (v-shaped) patterns. Hobo spiders are a venomous species.

Hobo spiders weave funnel-shaped webs, and are found both inside and outside of homes. Outdoors, they like to reside in areas near the ground including firewood and brick stacks, foundations and window wells.
